Through pilgrim ministries you can make small loans up to $100 dollars to a small businesses enterprise. Your small loan will supply the spark that any business needs to grow. This is an excellent way to be charitable while fostering accountability among the people you help. 
By providing loans in addition to donations we can accomplish the ultimate goal of alleviating poverty and establishing self-sufficient communities. While we do not discourage direct charity to people in need, we understand that if you feed them today they will need food tomorrow. It is better to teach them how to feed themselves.
Charity has its limitations. It can only temporarily address the symptoms of poverty and disease. The mission of Pilgrim Ministries is to eradicate poverty and disease. This can only be done by providing people with the means and methods to support themselves. A micro-loan can help someone start a business and put them on the road to independence.
